Who we’re looking for
We’re looking for a Senior Outbound Account Executive to join our Sales Team in North America! In the role, your primary responsibility will be to drive revenue growth by running demos and closing deals as well as generating new business through outbound sales efforts. You will work closely with the sales and marketing team to identify new leads, develop prospect lists, and create targeted outreach strategies.
Keeping up to date with product knowledge on Katana as well as monitoring industry competitors so you’re able to elevate your understanding of a customer’s needs is critical to success in the role. You are responsible for scheduling and performing demos for each potential client and presenting the technical details as needed, answer customer questions, and incorporate new and advanced features into these presentations as appropriate.
As a Senior Outbound Account Executive, you will not only get the chance to learn about the magical world of manufacturing and what Katana offers but will also focus on duties such as:
- Conducting sales demos for each potential client
- Source new business and revenue through outbound prospecting efforts
- Create and build customized demos for each client
- Proactively schedule sales demos through cold calling
- Meeting monthly KPIs with the goal of running demos and closing customers
- Generate interest through email campaigns and cold calling
- Exceed sales targets and goals to drive overall business growth
- Educate customers on how Katana’s platform and services can benefit them financially and professionally
- Monitor the company’s industry competitors, new products and market conditions to understand a customer’s specific needs.
You’re the perfect fit if you:
- 3-5+ years of experience in outbound sales, preferably in a B2B environment
- Have a B2B SaaS background or an avid interest in the field
- Strong understanding of sales methodologies and techniques
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience using CRM software such as HubSpot
